We welcome you to the on-line presence of Allen Temple A.M.E. Church. We are blessed to have the privilege of being part of a vibrant and loving community of believers known as the Allenites, who worship in the only TEMPLE in Tampa's Historic Ybor City District.

In November, 2001, we were appointed to this great Church from Bishop Adams, who had wonderfully lead the 11th Episcopal District for many years. The legacy left by Bishop Adams and the leaders that preceded us is one of tremendous Christian service and love.

As you navigate through this website, please understand that this first phase is only scratching the surface of what this Church and ministry is all about. We are all working to grow the Kingdom of God, and doing all we can to be a Church of freedom here on earth.

We are a growing family of more than 1200 members, each with many talents, interests and gifts. We are dedicated to using our time, talents, and treasures to the glory of God through Christ Jesus.

In the spirit of Richard Allen, the founding Bishop of the African Methodist Episcopal Church, everyone is welcome to fellowship with us. We welcome all.
